Firefox. Google Chrome is meant to be decent as well but I can't be bothered to install it and find out if its better.

Google chrome is fast - but a bit buggy and in development at the moment.
Safari is pretty nice.
Opera was pretty decent bk in the day too.

Firefox for most things, widely acknowledged...and minimal/no compatibility issues nowadays.

safari works well, firefox is probarbly the best but version 3 has had its faults
