View Full Version : Bargain Valver break or fix
Well Its been off the road since July nad I'm getting pig sick so I think its time to see if it'll sell.
N reg 432 Valver
118,000 mile
Koni Suspension Dampening Adjustable (Brand New in Feb with Receipt to prove)
Tem Dynamics Pro Race 2's in brilliant condition with 3 Toyo T1-R's and a Goodyear whih are all well above legal tread.
B&M Short shift (awesome piece of kit)
Powerflow full stainless exhaust with De Cat
Brand new uprated clutch just fitted
New Headgasket and Timing belt kit just fitted
K&N Panel Filter
Bad Points:
Won't Start (possibly timing is out)
Exhaust blowing from the manifold and Downpipe join.
Oil leak. Dunno where its coming from somewhere at the back of the engine.
No MOT or Tax, Just ran out at the weekend.
TBH This would be an easy project for someone with the time and knowledge, or if your so inclined you could break it and make more than the asking price very easily, but it would be a shame as the shell is really clean!
I really don't wanna sell it but it makes me sad to see it sitting in the Car Port.

Shame mate nice car, Tried Pistonheads? sell in no time on there :D
Yeah have whacked it on Piston Heads but av got nowt back haha. Spent over £800 on it since April. Has a huge wadge of history with reciepts for everything!!

When you say it won't start, is it just turning over and over? Have you had the plugs out for a compression test? Is it getting fuel and spark?
Whereabouts are you located?
Its turning over and nearly catching but just not quite.

Hi, just wondering if this is still for sale, I'm very interested and only in Darlington so could collect very easily.
Haven't had one of these clio's before and only stumbled on this coz my father in law is looking for a mint one, so this and seems ideal for me as a track project!
Anyway, I'm genuinely interested, I've got a GTi6 at the moment and a member on the owners forum under the same user name, if you search on there you'll see me asking about Clio Williams.

Well glad u got the money for it - and glad it still in one piece!! :D
Its now tucked up safely in my garage ready for me to work my magic on it. Hopefully should have it running A1 in a couple of weeks and already got my eye on a full Williams interior.
Was a bonny tow home tho, the battery started going flat as I needed the side lights on so when it started raining the wipers would only work every 30 seconds or so, not good when your concentrating on keeping a tow bar straight trying your best not to end your life prematurely.
Anyway, spot on car and very pleased with it, will make an awesome track car and will be very well looked after!!

cool - start a thread up of intended plans etc with pics, will make it more worth while in the end, looking back at wot u started with 8)
Yeah I'll start a proper thread on what I've got planned, I'll have a good look round it tomorrow and decide the best way to attack it but like everything car related it won't be straight forward. looking forward to getting it on the road tho.
