Hello
iam going to turbocharge my F7R engine and i need a manifold, what types of manifolds is there, are they all custom made, i dont want a manifold in castiron..
common ones are cast, bout 300 quid new but can be had second hand
there is one stainless mental one that i know of that justin on here owns, no idea where it came from.
there is another company that makes t3 capable matched one also but maxiboy has the details
why dont u want cast? mines running 250+ bhp no worries of a cast mani, no issues

Im sure that the cast ones will work, but i dont think they are so great if you compare flowrate on a cast one and a realy nice one made with pipes.
i will use a TD04HL-15T turbo so i cant use the cast one anyway..
if you got the readies then fair enough mate but tbh its not necessary on the flow rates from these engines, u may reduce lag a bit but for the price its not essentially worth it, okay if you plan to run 500bhp through the rear wheels in a big car but for a fwd 2.0l car its hardly a must

well i dont want silly power as i dont want the car for 402m, so low lag is a must, a friend of mine got a rolling road so we are going to tune it there to drive on 102 octane ethanol so the CR will be about 9,5:1.
I can build a manifold cheaper than 300£

well it wont be any space left with a turbo, intercooler and more pipes.
No i dont think its cheap, so i plan to build one, i like the Da luz style manifold, but i will se what it will be when i am done, the turbo is not big so i hope i will have the space to mount it behind the engine, not on top like the protixide manifold....
Justin..

yes they are very expensive, thats why i will build one.
I will not pay over 700€ for a manifold, thats more then i have spent for a megane F7R AND a turbo (about 600€ ) and a NEW big IC (100€)
so i will get some pipes and build one..
die cast manifolds are from bb tuning i believe mate and only there..
