Trying to do the brakes on the Ibeefer and it has allen bolts. It rounded out when I tried to undo it.
Anyone got any tips for getting them out?
yep its called drill it out!

That's the last resort!
Gong to try whacking a Torx bit in.
hammer a small socket over the head?
but drilling is your best option tbh
although when i did my ARB on the valver i had a seaszed bolt, so i chopped the head off and hammered it out ;)
but it didnt have a thread so that was easy enough

I'll try Torx first. Then socket. Then use my set of extractors (reverse thread type) then I'll give up.
There's not enough room in the arch to get a drill in there.

Used a huge pair of mole grips, that sometimes works.
dont bother with extractors mate...

I suspect ehy might shear.
Other option is to file some flats on to them and use a good old-fashioned spanner.
My molegrips aren't too hot either. I must managed to round the teeth off them at some point in the past!
Borrow a impact driver. Best tool ever. That'll get it out.

No it won't! Already tried it. No space to twat the thing.
could you not cut across it with a dremel and use a flat screwdriver, ive done that before

Torx 45 bit twatted in and undone!
Put the pads in, new disc on, fvcker wouldn't fit! Thecaliper housing was 2mm too far one way to get the guide bolt holes lined up.
Tried the old disc and it must be ever so slightly different as that would've lined up. Just got a different set after standing around in GSF for 1/2hr, and some new guide bolts which I'm sure are wrong, so let's hope it all fits now.
This is the longest job I've had when changing discs and pads!
