Some would say there is no benefit to having one lol but the dump valve sound is quite fun imo :P 8)
You can get recirculating ones though so you don't have to have the noise!
There's a range from japan that are apparently 120dB+ LoL
no idea mate, best bet for performance is recirc, but thats more pipework etc in an already cramped bay
No recirculating for me. i'm letting people know they have to get out of my way
Dumpvalves are for spotty kids who wanna pic up maccies slags
Turbo chatter FTW!!
i can get slags with a dv? giggity giggity, olay
yeah as long as you sponsored by a turbo company

lol i can see that breaking a few DB rules at track days :S
as coops said a recirc is best for performance...forge splitter will be a good one
if its just venting to air then i cant see it having any difference....until ur run mega boost and need two as one cant cope 8)

if ur after one of the loudest, i recommend forge dump valve. EP motorsport always rated them loudest on the rfives.

forge do some good loud ones
HKS SSQV is the best performing but sounds GHEY!!
if your running a lot of boost without a DV or recirc, then you can cause damage to your compressor over time. "wastegate chatter" is actually compressed air being forced back over the compressor turbine putting excess stress on it. It's actually compressor stall.
