Finished the induction kit for my Williams and thought i'd post a few pics.
I considered the scuttle i/k but wanted more of a direct cold air feed, space is limited in the engine bay so the simple solution seemed to be from the fog light.
After I had worked out a way of doing it, the fun could begin.
I started by making a flange and formed a tight radius elbow to suit the internal shape of the flange, with the horn bracket removed it gave enough space to run some 3 pipework through to the fog with plenty of clearence, once satisfied I welded all joins together. It took a bit of trial and error to get the pipework spot-on but im happy with how it turned out.
The HKS filter was an e-bay bargin at 15 pound, the pipework was off-cuts from work and the elbows were spares I had from another job, so 15 pound and a couple hours of my time for a cold air i/k sounds good to me.
All that's left to do is give it a final polish and re-fit the inner arch guard and it's job done.

Thx for concern  ... This was taken into consideration and I made a cover that clips in place over the fog area for when its raining, granted it may get tedius putting in on everytime it rains, but a small price to pay I think.

great handy work and it looks like a quality install...

as said it would be a little close to the floor for when it rains but im sure its a small price to pay...

if you could mod it to include a semi enclosed 'bowl' at the front of the filter or even move the filter slightly higher into the engine bay then i think it would be a quality 'all weather' affair...

top marks for engineering though

Boris the LEGEND from RTOC. Do you still make 2.5" downpipes?

Given it a break for a whyle mate, but if the demand continues another batch will be considered. Concentrating on the Williams now the 5 is finished....

may i just suggest looking into some high quality larger bore custom downpipes for the williams as your next project? perfect it and you will rival bill gates with the amount of units you will sell!?!?!!

Boris can do anything, infact boris can do C1J engine changes without an engine crane, he deadlifts em out
