i have been thinking very long and very hard BOUT what to do with the enigne. i know one thing is for sure, i am hybridin it. now i was convinced to put throttle boddies on it too, but 3k.......... i just can't justifying speniding that much on it really.... but i could (confused?? i am thats all i am thinking lol)

anyway, so i have been thinking about possibly fidiling with the engine and trying to get past the 200 barrier without throttle bodies or turbo!!

so i'm thinking (and heres my list)

williams engine
cams
chip
ported and polished head
scuttle pannel air filter

what shall i be looking at bhp wise with that on her?

thanks for any advice guys!

Maybe 180?

180+ id say tbh. depending on who did the work.

mine as above but without the ported/polished head and skuttle filter was running at about 145@ the wheels which equates to about 165-170 at the fly.

add underdrive pullies, headwork, properly timed cams, etc and it shud b 180 + plus easy.

my Williams2 has a ported head, a chip and a lightened flywheel, and allready 100,2Kw at the wheel = 136,1Hp at the wheel
(no cams jet, it is the projet now:))
so with the modifications what you had mentioned, you could reach the 200hp at the flywheel I think.

Hi!
145Hp at the wheel should be about 175Hp at the flywheel, by using a 20% loss. (as minimum)

was told an average of 15% transmission losses. but tbh, its at the wheels power that matters lol

Yes, you are right :)
According to my information, 20% is also a "good loss", and it is in case of cars with linear direction engine, with FWD. Our car has cross-line direction engine, loss could be about 25%.

one more thing! :)

my car was meassured together with a low milage Clio 17poo phase 2, witch was totally standard, and it meassured at the wheel = 94,3Kw
my Willy = 100,2Kw :) 8)

in case of torque the 17poo was better, it was = 162,7Nm at the wheel, and my Willy was = 154,1Nm only

if it helps, i've been in 2lives car and it is a freaking rocketship, so i think the bhp figures can be a little misleading, with the current spec it was break neck speed... fully timed and tuned it would be stupid and i cant see any reason why you would want or need to go any faster!?! haha

Ive alway been told BHP is ok for rolling roads but torque is what makes the difference. :)
