A little Guidence Please :)

Im thinking of buying the following for my willy 2

-KTR camshaft with followers
-Power/Superchip
-FSE power boost valve

Would this be fine to run together?
Is there anything missing for it not to be running fine?
Is it worth it?
BHP guestimates?

Firstly forget about the power boost valve, its unecessary and will cause the engine to fuel incorrectly.

I would spend the money and take it to a Tuner like APD, HillPower e.t.c

They will sell you a better type of cam, and offer a remap service, or hillpower will offer "stage" chips that seem effective too.

A well setup car with cams should see around 15bhp increase depending on the type of cams.;

get cat cam 208's, these were the ones I had on my Williams and will give you more power without even having a remap. Me and Northy used to be identical paced for our cars (even though his had more mods :lol: ), but once I had cams that all changed.

I'd not bother getting a chip or remap to be honest, a cheap chip of Gunner is all you need. Generic chips and ECU reflashes are shite imo, better off with a standalone, but it's difficult to justify another £1200-1600 unless you plan on going for ITB's or forced induction.

mine were supplied and fitted by GDI, but you can get them anywhere including Cat themselves.

Are the K-Tec cams any good?

think there piper as k-tec just rebrand everything..get cat cams...
