1991 Black Clio 16V £1000 ono

For sale in about a week is my Clio 16V. Selling due to new car. I rebuit the engine around 8,000 miles ago and is now running really well. Below is a list of some of the work that was carried out:

Reconditioned Engine at 127,585

• Low mileage engine block, chemically clean, honed and the block face skimmed and painted black
• New core plugs from Renault
• Crank checked and cleaned and fitted with new big end and main bearings.
• Pistons sized and fitted with new rings
• Flywheel lightened
• New clutch assembly
• Bottom end balanced end to end
• Re-con gearbox
• New genuine water pump
• New cam belt and idlers
• New thermostat and low temp fan switch from Ktec
• New water temperature sensor fitted
• Every gasket replaced
• Piper 270 cams fitted
• Valves lapped in and new valve stem oil seals fitted


Also

• 2 new front ball joints
• Goodridge braided brake lines, front and rear
• New expansion tank and cap
• New heater matrix
• All dash bulbs replaced
• Thatcham 1 approved Toad alarm and immobiliser
• Polished rocker cover
• Genuine new exhaust heatshield
• New clutch pedal assembly


Since 85,000

• New steering rack
• New alternator and starter motor
• Spax up-rated front dampers, Avo -35mm springs
• 3 wheels bearings

Body work is in good condition for age. The arches are going a bit now and a spot on the drivers sill but apart from this excellent. It has a magnex back box and k&n induction kit. Tax is out end of July and MOT due in august, but should fly through.

Mnine woud involve stripping it bare and get a cage welded in it as a spare 8)
