Come on guys i have had my clio williams2 up for sale now for 5 weeks and i have had no replys, i have lowered the price of it from 4750 to 4000 pound which is a bargain as i have spent 10000 pound on it tuning and body styling.

If yr interested check it out on the autotrader or give me a call on 07922252709 and i can give you the full spec.

The car speaks for itself when it comes to what condition it is in, has been well looked after.

Reason for sale is i now own an evo 4 with an evo 8 engine in which is very nice and juicy lol.

The reason it is not selling is it is priced too high. There are several other Clio Williams out there which are 2/3 the price of yours but equally as nice. Maybe you should lower it further as my Williams only cost me £4000 3 years ago with low 70's on the clock.

How much are u surgesting i drop it 2 then lol

Even tho there are about 3 williams on the autotrader wit over a thousand miles for about 3500 to 3750 STANDARD.

Slight difference wit mine which has had a lot of tlc and over 10000 spent on it lol.

For most buyers its irrelavant what you've spent on it - they will only pay what they will pay.

Its unfortunate I know but most will look at yours and instanstly think 90,000 miles - modified - hard to go back to standard - its just the way people think these days.

Hi,

I'd certainly say it was too high, I advertised my very clean 63K William 2 for over 4 months at 3.5 and got nothing.

Lowered it to 3.2 and I've had loads of calls although it's now sold, I could have probably held out as there are more cars out there with 80++ miles for more money.

In the end just needed to get it sold as it wasn't being use.

Also people will pay more for an original car than a modded car.

id never buy a heavily modded williams, unless it was a pure track spec car. imo its a ruined williams. id be wanting a std hot hatch classic. so I'd be looking at those STANDARD ones you were reffering to. Not some guys idea of what he thinks is better than renault intended. Might consider it a butchered classic. Just might not be to peoples tastes mate. But ull find someone eventually, just keep at it. some guy will love what youve done with it.

youll be lucky to get anything over 1.5k for that
why on earth would you debadge a williams? and smooth the side strips? defeats the point in having it

4grand your dreaming! i hope someone buys it off you cheap and takes it back to how it should be

kinda agree with that but he will get more than that for it.

i had a williams i sold it for 4.2k it was imaculate and so would yours of been if you kept it standard and not modified. mine sold within a week as it was what people would want and imo a modified williams isnt one of them.

I'd say the very first issue is lack of decals - get some back on asap - to most people thats just a valver.

yours is a highly modified williams 2 on 90k
i bought my standard near immaculate williams 2 on 80k for 2grand in november.

if the lowest youll go is 3.5k i can see you having it for sale for quite some time.

but like others say you MIGHT get someone willing to pay that for it but i really doubt it

Think all the stick your gettin is uncalled for, If it was a "what do think of my car?" thread i could understand it BUT its NOT, its a for sale thread so lets leave it as one!

Me...........I love this car :D

Further to the above I would like to add it is nice to see someone take constructive feed back or just critisicm from some people and not spit their dummy out about it, but just listen to it.

All the best mate.

He says he's thankful for feedback and everyone is just trying to help make a sale by recommending his price is too high - Like Jamie said its nice for once that it's no turned into a slanging match.

I hope he gets what he wants for it but probably not in the space of time he wants.

These are all interesting comments guys and thanks, ordered some decals to put back on it in the next couple of days.

Another thing did have the car up for sale on the autotrader, now i am wondering wat it would be like to sell in max power or one of them tuning magazines do ya think it would get a better response?

Obviously i put it on petrol heads aswell, let me know yr thoughts on the area to sell it in e.g wats my best bet autotrader, max power, fast car etc cheers guys.

Daz.

pistonheads? or is that what you meant by petrolheads?

You could try putting an ad in the back of French Cars Magazine - Ususally people who buy that are looking for something modified.
