i would like to lighten up my willy as much as i can! i have put a carbon fibre bonnet,a bucket seat.i was looking for back door,a small light weight battery and everything that make the car loosing weight!
any suggestions????? :?: :oops: :D

is it worth getting bumpers and wings? you could lihtweight the std bumpers,
also k-tec do a lighter bonnet. them doors look good tho 5kg ea

i think to lighten up the front is very good for the balance of the car,the brakes works more easily and the suspension the same. :!:

If you are concentrating on the front then swap the bonnet for a fibreglass one. Replace the battery with a Red Top and put it in the rear of the car. Swap both front seats for some lightweight buckets. Swap the sunroof (if you have one) for a rivetted-in sheet of aluminium. I've saved nearly 200kg from my car and half of that must be from the front, although junking the spare, cage and rear seats was the easy saving in the rear.

the carbon fibre bonnet i run it's weights about 3.5 kgr.i don't have rear seats,no sunroof,no "blanket" on the roof,lighter wheels.the next step is the light batery and back door for sure :D

the previous owner gave me rear glasses to swap the real glass with plastic ones.also have for the back door. i will swap the glasses when i put the rear light weight door!!!

i run kosei k1 wheels!the 15inch weights 4.7kgr each!

Yes, don't bother with locks - just pin it. It cost £150 I think.
