The car has 129000 on the clock with MOT till august and no tax it ran out recently. I have some History with the car and obviously the V5 book...
As you can see from the pics, the car does have a bit of rust and it is definitly becoming a problem and needs sorting out, i have been quoted for the arches and respray and it wasnt too bad but just being honest.
The car has also had a problem recently with the cam cover gasket, bassicly oil leaked from the cam cover into the spark plug wells and caused problems with firing etc My mechanic couldnt really see a problem to why the oil was there so I decided to change the cam cover gasket myself as its an easy job however when I replaced the cam cover gasket I saw a kink in the old one so im pretty sure it was down to that but it may be a problem in the future, another point is.. the leads are fine but there casing has some cuts into it so maybe a new set of cables would be a good future buy.
Also, the two front seats are getting a bit battered now, the passenger seat has broken and there is no way of adjusting it so the back leans right back again just a pointer to be honest.
For the body work, the bonnet has the usual stone chips at the very tip ofit along with other tiny stone chips but I must say it isnt too bad..
Im open to offers on this but I have spent alot recently on the car as I do like valvers......its had a full service (£150) plus ive replaced cam cover gasket, throttle sensor and a few other bits in the last week and generally spent time and cash onit recently!
Ive left some pics of the other day when I gave it a good polish to show how nice it can look and Ive also just taken some pictures of the rust now just now with my phone...
