I have been reading that 205's mite be better for grip over 195's why do people use 195's over these?

imo too wide for 7j rims so turn in suffers as walls flex excessively, bit like inveres of stretching small width tyres over wider rims

195's are the perfect width, any wider and as coops suggests, you will get lots of side wall flex and movement which makes the handling sloppy..... a good set of 195's will out perform a shite set of 105's
