rite a got given a engine 2day and they said it is a 2.0 willy engine
the engine code is f4r c 740 just want to no if it is or what is it if it isint

f4r is definately the 1 7 2 or 1 8 2 engien mate so no good to most on here

Not all F4R's come from Clio Sports.... they're used all across the range in the MeganeI/II/ the Laguna II, Espace III etc so don't assume it's a 1 7 2 F4R... someone will need to check the full code to be sure.

as mick put not all f4r are in 172/182's they are found in many other models and with much less power usually

No chance! iirc all the oil/water ways are different. send it back as you were miss sold it :wink:

As Flan said, no chance... shame though cos the castings are near identical apart from the minor issue of the oil drain being on the oppersite face.

How much are you looking for it as I might have a use for it? Also, what's included... bracketry, ancills, manifolds?

there are people who have done F4R conversions into a valver or Willy...
