Its for a ph3 car, to try and combat imobiliser problems, hoping it will have the same effect as putting a ph1 16v ecu in a ph2.....1997 will be ph3 tho buddy

Phase 1 ECU won't work in a phase 3 RSI.

The flywheel design/pickups are different.
