Hi all

I have a clio with a williams bottom end and a megane head, i am after an inlet manifold gasket.

I went to a main dealer today and they insisted i gave them an engine number or reg of the car.

I tried without success to explain that the head was on a williams bottom end and in a clio so the reg would be useless to search.

He is still having none of it so can anyone help out, what part number or engine number would help?

Alls i know its a petrol 2.0 head??????

F7R is the engine and C57M is the code for the williams.

U need to speak to someone more helpfull mate. They can search without knowing the reg.

I wanted to take his renaultsport fleece off him and choke him with it

BA0H should be the vehicle code for a Megane 2.0 16V.

Actually no, i think thats for the IDE engine - F7R should be DAOH for a 96 to 99.
