View Full Version : Tacho
As usual, now mine is playing up. Still showing some revs but on the limiter it is only reading 4k.
Anybody got a set of clocks or just the tacho that I can swap out?
email andy.symonds@christiedigital.com
or PM if prefferred

you sure it's your clockset at fault and not the pulse feed/connector from the coil?
to be honest I am not entirely sure. and also not sure how I would test it as it is obviously pulsing something for the clocks to pick it up, but as to what it should be I have no idea. I can put an oscilloscope on it but without any reference numbers it would be meaningless.
But to be on the safe side I would rather go with a new sets of clocks and use them if nothing else to determine the fault...and have them as a back up if required.
thanks for the tip though

Got a new LCD dash system arriving soon so could sell my clocks on. Valver ones. Currently showing ~48k miles. Let me know if interested and I can take some pics for you.

I haven't driven the car for a VERY long time...almost 5 months it has been stored..so now comes the job of getting all the little niggles sorted before the summer arrives.
Can't come soon enough!
