exhaust wrap

i am colecting parts for a scuttle induction and was wondering if anyone has used heat wrap on the tubing? is it worth £10 extra for the wrap?

no point on the tubing as it will be sucking it cold air alot + its not directly over or that near the manifold. mine works great no need to heatwrap on it...
