1st off hello all,ive got a little problem.When on starting up the ol' valver itr seems to idle around '10' and sputter and jump a bit ? any ideas had service done by a local garage all parts were correct because i supplied them.
Have the exact same prob with my 92 valver and its doin my head in. car starts fine runs well for approx 1 minute then goes lumpy and cuts out. yours the same?

yeah sort of but with out the cut out,just lumpy,whats a iscv ?

Idle Speed Control Valve - do a search for it as there's been a pic posted recently :)
I think you need to remove it and clean it with Carb Cleaner to help the idle.
I might do mine at some point, it's a bit lumpy sometimes lol
yeah m8 prob just your iscv. think mine is ignition coil because i've pretty much eliminated everything else by replacing it. "THE EXPENSIVE WAY!!"

Doesn't sound like ICV to me, it seems to be operating if its idleing for a minute or so from cold and then stalls...If it stalls then the ICV is moving and allowing a change in metered air to enter the inlet. Maybe coolant temp sensor is abit bummed but let us know if cleaning the ICV sorts this out. good luck
