Just received a set of williams cams, thought they would be a worthwhile upgrade for my megane head.
How do i know:
Which pulley goes on which camshaft
Which camshaft it the inlet and which is the exhaust.
Exhaust cam should have a bit at the end for the dizzy, and I didn't think it made any difference on what cam you put on what side, but id there is then there will be some foolproof way of putting them on the right cam end.
If you put an exhaust cam in the inlet carrier or an inlet cam in the exhaust carrier the head will lockup when you crank it and you will bend valves so obviously you need ensure you get the cams in the right way ;)
On the pulley side both cams have a threaded tap to accept the bolts. Distributor end the ***EXHAUST CAM*** has a notch cut out to drive the distributor. The ***INLET CAM*** does not.
