Runs across the engine into the inlet manifold area. What is it?

Whereabouts exactly? Could be the fuel rail at a guess. That runs between the inlet fanny mould and the rocker cover.

I'm guessing your refering to the pipe that feeds the brake servo. Runs around the front and side of the engine and one end goes into the inlet fannimold and the other is connected to a rubber pipe sleeved with heat resistant material that then goes into the servo.
If its not that, I've just wasted a lot of time and energy typing all this crap. :roll:

Nothing.
Although I suppose you could take it off (easy enough) and rub it down and repaint it with satin black aerosol. Its very, very unlikely to actually rust enough to corrode right through though.
Thats the pipe i had to cut thru and replace with some silicone hosing to fit an ecotek valve.... my advice, dont be a sucker like i was :P

They're cheap enough from renault brand new - i bought one a while back as i cut the original one...think it was about 25quid bit don't quote me.
