If your speedo wobbles then its def worth changing the clip in the box when its out, far far easier.

Gearbox oil :P lol
that was replaced soon after i got it from you mate, tried that to solve the poor starting but it turned out to be the ignition coil was weak
so you know if any of the mounts have ever been done on this car ?
Top mount and dogbone were defo done...can't remember about gearbox one though..probably! lol
well ive replaced the dogbone again a few months back, as long as i dont have to worry about the main mount

Personally I would do the Pivot bush (as previously someone reported a worn pivot bush which resulted in difficulty changing to lower gears when the car was getting hot in traffic) and for the cost of £1.50 its not gona hurt the pocket.
Although, the same problems/symptoms have had different remedies - such as pressure plate and clutch cable.
You are getting the compelte clutch kit are you not?
I would change the rear main oil seal while you was there.

As Chris said! maybe consider the soft pedal conversion if your going for an uprated clutch, Also Check that the 3 bolts that holds the n/s driveshaft gaitor in have good clean threads, if they strip when you have got the box back in then someone will be annoyed
going for a standard clutch, its always been fine

wot parts are needed to do a soft pedal conversion? and is it easy to do?
You need a Megane/Laguna/Volvo clutch release arm and the extender bracket for the cable to sit higher on, some say you need a longer clutch cable but mine has been fine, i have a couple spare extender brackets here thinking about it

oh right kl. im puttin a willy lump in my valver, comes with box, the box will need to come off wont it?
yeh the box will have to come off, piece of cake when the engines out the car, make sure you do the clutch pressure plate bolts in an opposing sequence to avoid bending the release springs
Thye foul the airbox...obviously not an issue if your running and induction kit.
