quick question

will it soften the lumpy idle?
if it is running lean now, will it give better or worse mpg after mapping?

i expect you can tune out a lumpyish idle, but i think anything more than 270 duration will cause the map sensor to get dodgy readings, Something to do with inlet manifold turbulence, im sure stan can explain more, if its running lean now then mapping to run perfect will make it run more fuel its inevitable, but you may drive it with less throttle load as it's mapped, i found out with a gunnerchip that it got about the same mpg if not slightly more, not that mpg is my main aim 8)

yes a remap will soften out the lumpy idle....and it will run what ever are the best settings for the cams u have in.

TBH if your worried about fuel comsumption u shouldnt have flowed the head.....

not overly worried about mpg

just want to know what to expect after remap.

It will help to an extent. the cams you have do give a distinct lumpiness, but its nothing near sputtering or stalling.

as for MPG, again depends heavily on remap. You could see better than standard if it was set so.
