got the offer of some 172 brakes and wanna know if they fit a valver.
Caliper bolt spacing looks different but will the 172 hubs fit the clio 16v?
Do i need the struts too?
Or is it all just never gonna fit?
Advice please

If you cant read that (like me) then i believe you have to use the inner part of the hub pressed into the 172 hub with a 16v bearing (that the driveshaft bolts into) and have the strut mounting on the hub machined down a small amount to get them to fit in the struts, i was going to do it, got some scenic brakes here, but tbh i think my standard brakes are up to the job

**Cough** Turbo'd willy i'll have you know lol

Can be done mate, just need the hubs from a scenic or the like with clio bearings pressed in. Jobs a gooden.

Oh, and you need wide track if you've not got a willy.

hmmm not too dificult but might be easier to find something that will just bolt on.
was looking at the calipers and they look the same as mk1 laguna rti ones. Except the rti is 5 stud.
Any suggestions for better brakes other than the 172 route?
