I would have the 16row type!

AndyFielder

yes it does, made them to fit 182, 172 and Mk1 clios.

Ebay doesnt use stainless hoses and they will be shorter than the ones i provide. I also think it excludes the adapter that allows you to fit more than one cooler or fit put the cooler onto the engine if it alrady has the water to oil cooler fitted by Renault.

16row - £145
13row - £135

AndyFielder

just had a look... the ebay one doesnt have a thermostat to stop the oil getting too cold/decrease warmup times.

Oszy
25-02-2008, 20:33
ok! Would order one with 16row, iff possible..

Ask my friend tomorrow for additional one! :D

so your kit has an adapter to fit an additional sandwich plate is that what you mean?

if so then i think i'm sold!

yeah... lets you put it on top of the Renault item OR straight to the block OR buy 2 of my kits and run 2 oil coolers

?? If you put on the top of Renault item there will be no space for the OIL Filter for sure!

i presume thats what the adapter is? a longer threaded piece so that this is possible?

Hi Mate!
Previously used 10W60 (API SL) Castrol Edge, that is preferd for high RPM I think.

20W60 Motul Motorsport Oil, I had checked (same as useing on Le-Mans races), and find a realy good Oil Pressure (1bar higher than with Castrol) even in case of 120 Oil Temperature.
I were asked to rallye engine bilder friend, and He suggested to use this Oil as well, He use for high RPM rallye cars. The only problem is that the Oil is very expensive :)

My car is not in daily use

should use something like 5w30 or 5w40 with the oil cooler.

use Renault filter there is room, its very small. Also the sandwich plate for my cooler is only about 25mm thick so it all fits!

Its what all the other people are selling... just with slightly longer steel hoses, bigger cooler and for slightly less...

WINWIN!

Andy
