R26 Gearbox

Can someone give me some info on the new Clio Cup gearboxes.

I want to know what gearboxes they are using. Mite have sources in Belgium that work for Renault sport whom can get me these.

Thought it mite be better than an bolt on LSD as i think they come with.

Can those in the know help me out?!

apparently they dont fit, too big.

who said that, from what i hear they will fit on a 172...

problems i see are no feed for the speedo but other than that... they look good to go.

That and the fact they're a cable selector not rod. They're also 6 speed Nissan NDO boxes and are rather large and will go under the Clio chassis rail and in to the inner arch.

Only in that my Laguna II had one that was replaced (thanks Renault UK) and when I saw it arrive on a pallet I couldn't believe they hide that bit of kit in the bay. An NDO box will fit an F4 block so I'd assume it would fit the F7 block to but the subframe/inner arch might need work as non of the cars they use it in have full subframes like the Mk1 does.

Another thing that is different on them is the clutch mech as they use a concentric, hydraulic setup!
