Whats difference between a a motorsport shell and a normal one??

Does this mean it has all the strengthening plates/brackets in it and is fully seam welded?

it could be put on the road but proberly on age related plate but not totally sure but is ideal if u wana reshell ur willy or build a track car it was on cliosport a while bk yes but is too good for me what i wana do and dont wana cut it up

Can't you register it as 'new' if you get enough new parts?

Or do you need a shell number?

no it is top coat but because it has been siting around is dull and light scraching on it

Ohhhhh tempting,

Race shells have no undercoat either so if you paint the underneith it would look "mint" a true show stopped.

I think that was on a Y plate as I remember it was "Y2K RS" 8)

He sold it after building it I think - I would have kept it!
