Hi im going to be upgrading my intake next week. I have seen some engine bays that also have breather filters, i would like to know what they are for, where they go and what size MM i will need to buy? Also please could you supply some images?

dont bother with an induction kit most are a waste of money and bhp, best thing you could do is get n ITG panel filter for the standard airbox

Thing is the car came with a K&N fitted and its chipped and remapped to maximise the gains from the Induction i just wondered if people have put breather filters on the oil/inlet etc?

never been a fan of air filters but i love the noise of mine on the trackcar, the car dont so chuffying weedy then! if only i had a flat 4 or something instead!

Well as far as i know when it was chipped they advised that because there would be more air rushing in a freeflow induction kit would give optimum benefits. I dont actually have the standard airbox either.

So who has fitted breather filters? i can remember seeing a picture but not sure who it was?

Hillpowers kits are nice but i dont really want to spend that much. And i already have just bought my filter from japan :)

But i have seen some breather filters in some pictures, this is what im interested in, not induction kits, heres a few examples:

Is this breather coming off of the ISCV?
