recently changed the engine in my car and it now wont idle unless you hold the car around 2000rpmnow i did strip down the throttle body and all fittings around it and cleaned them when i changed my engine but dont think this would have affected it. runs fine when on road but wont idle at all? any ideas people
cheers in advance
check all the pipes and check idle valve is plugged in.
did you remove tps when cleaning throttle?
if so it will require resetting.
do a search someone had this problem, stripped it all down and ****ed the settings up, going back a while now....might have been brun, but not sure
Thats the one i think

The tps is the red sensor on the side of the throttle body isn't it?? If so i hav removed that. How can i reset this or is it just best to replace?
start car and wiggle the bugger till it idles right, theres proper settings for resistane to set it up but i have never got them all right so the wiggle it techniqye comes into play
ive posted the settings for it, however it needs testing at the ecu terminals so not very simple to do
Problem solved!!!! wiggle technique done the job. cheers :D
