Mines got a shit load of play in it, and its causing the car to wobble on hard acceleration.
Its the driveshaft that uses the locking pin. Driveshaft must have NO play in it.
What have you got?
go to your local motorfactors mate, ask them to send it away for a re-build.
shudnt be too costly either.

Will go to renault and buy new in worst case. Dont want remanufactured as i need the car on the road.
Just wanting to see if anyone has got a decent 2nd hand shaft knocking about....or prefferably not knocking :wink:

I have one, but it needs a new gator/end bit i think.
Mite be worht you taking to be repaired.

is this not the same as the superior r19 16v driver side shaft ??

mite well be.
euro car parts like £70 for one, on exchange
so they deliver you change it out and get money back when you take your old one in.
i did both sides on mine a few months back

you wont kno if a 2nd hand one will last a week..also renault will sting u for a new shaft....listen to alan ,save yer cash.
p.s.love to kno how much reno charge.
