Coops i know you have recently put them on.
Should i go for new standard items or get these polyflex ones?
For a track car that will be running coilovers and renault wishbones.
Cheers!
Andy
i have a set for my trackcar, not currently fitted but will be running same spec, wide track with coilovers etc
will be on in the next few weeks as im going donington and want them on!
just a tad busy with 2 car builds and a engine!
all out track car, yeah go for it imo. ride gets a little harsher again so wouldnt put them on a day to day, but if your coilovered and that already then expect bit better response and firmer/stiffer ride

Why are they a waste of time?
after a few months they squeek like MAD

Has there ever been a problem with the original bushes?
Nope.
And there is a higher chance of damaging the subframe as well.
We need someone to do a full review on these.....I still haven't had chance to fit mine but I will post the findings up as soon as they are on! I keep on hearing conflicting opinions about them....
tbh for the price they are probably not that much better than o/e bushes
but you pays your money you makes your choice, end of the day the only reviewer you'll ever really trust is yourself, i went through all this when i bought mine, was umming and arhring and loads of people said they were pants which put me off a bit
tried them myself, no complaints, easy to fit and the suspension seems tighter to me, thats just in my experience
my std bushes have all done 120k! so time to renew which i decided to try these, they should be on in the next few week and i will be doing a trackday at donington end of feb so can give a review on how i feel about them!

Standard ones are more expensive anyway. i rang renault the other day and he quoted me £22 each!!!
For £110 You can get wishbone and arb bushes. Jobs a carrot.
after a few months they squeek like MAD
they squeek as the there is a fault with the design the stainless steel sleeve is too big and contacts the subframe. when ordering please state u want the new revised design i did.

Surely you want the stainless steel sleeve to contact the subframe though.
As the clamping of the sleeve acts as the pivot for the rubber bush.
