Woohoo, Ive eventually had time to give the Williams a clean!!

Ok, i brought the car nearly a year ago now from a friend of a friend who's son died and they had the car sitting on their drive for a bout a year and a half while they mourned i think, but anyway i went to have a look, he started first time although a little tappety but it soon quieten down after it was warm. I feel in love with the car as I had no idea they were so pokie!

I tailored the car home, although i wasn't insured my main concern was that they had no idea when the cam belt had been done, although looking through the history i could find a receipt but it was to long ago for me to want to risk it

So put a cam belt on it from Renault and tensioner, and gave it a full service, also took all the brakes apart (replaced the rear bearings and disks/pads) Next I took the car to have it’s mot, which it sailed through, only advisory from the mot tester was get the de-cat on! Lol

This was six months ago, and has been sitting in my mums garage ever since, the combination of starting a new job and trying to renovate my house meant I never had time to drive it, so it seems pointless it sitting in my mums warm garage doing nothing.

The car has covered 77k from new, it has ALL the old mot's to verify, also you can see how many miles it’s done since it’s mot in June (not many), certificate for the cat 1 Clifford fitted, service book stamped to 40k i think then receipts after, the car is standard apart from a magnex stainless and hill power induction kit. I also have a standard parcel shelf, de-cat, standard airbox and new header tank which I never got round to fitting, but if the price is right they can go with the car.

The drivers arche is a little rusty, also it seems the paint has come away, not rotten away, (passenger is good), also the bonnet could do with spraying (if your a perfectionist like me) as it has the normal stone chips and little scratch, all pictured below.

Also has a wierd noise from the passenger heater blower thingy, makes a farting noise when you accelerate :? Doens't affect the power or anything, maybe the induction kit :?

Weird farting noise from the passenger footwell/vent as you accelerate is likely to be a partially blocked heater matrix - should clear with a flush through, unless you want to do the matrix itself.

Is that a Senna sticker on the back? Or just a dealer sticker?

Looks in good shape though :)

I have the same problem with regards to the noise on acceleration and i have been assured by numerous people that it is a partially blocked heater matrix. As said, it should clear up with a good flush. I'm surprised you dont seem to have had much interest, seems fairly priced to me :D
