can the rear of my clio be lowered by just adjusting the torsion bar without buying uprated suspension or will i need to splash the cash

dont need to uprate the suspension no

depends how low you are going, but 30 mm should be fine with out new shocks.

cheers lads not done it yet but sure will attempt this weekend
ran my old RT 35mm down on std shocks, lasted couple of years before they got a bit knackered n ride went all spongey!

shocks have an average life of 30,000 miles before they lose the best part of the efficiency
:lol: these ones did 80k normal and another 30k lowered and were still going! but as said, not too healthy!
