I had a thought and have decided to post here. This may sound abit weird...

The idea is to run my current engine with a small turbo say a T2 at 0.5bar which will act at say 2.500rpm - 5,000rpm and cut off with some cleaver mapping to keep the high 7500rpm tail off even off boost it will be very snappy but the combination of the 2 would surely be deadly? It's just a thought I had  Run that setup with a Quaife ATB Differential and some 888's for example? Although im a little worried now that on the track with an open differential it will understeer on power

I imagine it would create a very strong midrange, after which the top end might feel a bit weak? It'd also drink like a fish I imagine LoL

Interesting idea though - looking forward to hearing what people who have some proper mechanical knowledge say! :)

your cams are totally not suitable for pressure inlet

aside from that, some gentle coaxing of fuelling and ignition, and decent charge cooling, would/should see of nasty detonation.

would need sum special valve for the servo aswell else you may have no servo action + sum sort of blow/suction map sensor and what stan says really i run a 1967 ford anglia with or was a h/c 1700cc stage 3 x-rally x/flow and im now in the process of turboing that and theres alot more involved with this than i thought and this is a basic motor. its going to run 8-10psi im still going to have probs with ign adv/ret which will cause alittle det with a 9:1 c/r!! and a intercooler.

It was just a thought  I will go for the brutal NOS option in the near future  should do the trick...I thought the valve overlap on cam shafts would be too much for forced induction...In basic terms it would let all the pressure go out the exhaust?

Man I saw a nice William3 on the way home from work today and I was in the Monster of power Mini 998  He blew me away!!! Sob sob boohoo!
