if yours needs repairing and can guide u on how to do it mate. Might be better in the long run. If u dont have any equipment i might be able to help ?

That would be great, cheers Northy. What tools would I need mate? Not liking my chances of getting another loom anyway.

cable (i have some spare but u might need a full length), new connector, solder, heatshirnk and a soldering iron.

I can probably get hold of all of that fairly easliy....jusy knowing how to do it.

Fairly sure I have seen a FS thread with a willy engine loom for sale for a tenner?!

Looks like im going to have to take u up on your offer mate as the balck wire is ****ed...can you guide me through how to do it please....and i think i may have to have some of ur equipment/wire too :oops:

Easy enough strip it out and then solder in replacement cable, can get rolls of cable for a few quid form halfords

You see 16v looms for sale all the time dirt cheap- cant be much different? Although saying that it looks a lot easier to repair yours looking at that picture on the thread than to replace!
