who has what exhaust on there turbo clio,i have the same one as i did before it was converted but it keeps ripping thru back boxes like no tomorrow, think i had 3 last year all brand new as all the old ones the baffles had broke up.
also does anyone ever get any exhaust knock on either their steering rack or under the tunnel where the gear linkage comes through, vibrates like mad one mine, tried welding up brackets to stop the paly but still does it,wondered if there are any stronger engine mounts i could use to stop so play when i throttle up.???

search for coops' engine mount soloution to stop it hitting rack, think a few people have side exit systems, or straight through ones?

side exit single box job i run, loud as hell but not knackered it yet!

and i do an adjustable solid dogbone mount of my own design as i had that exact issue, the turbo downpipe catches on the steering rack. £25 delivered but will be after xmas till i make some more, pm me for details

cheers

What diameter Pipes are you guyz using for the exhaust?
2.5" or 3" ?

I built my own downpipe so no knocking probs for me! :P
The BBPT downpipe doesn't seem to have any flexi-joints which is weird. Surely that's just asking to break something?

BTW Haven't got any pics yet. Maybe in the near future.

Photo's of my downpipe will be on my projects thread.

No knocking yet, running a mongoose at the mo...dunno what dia its is? I've had the mongoose baffles welded in properly as they're only spot-welded and come off too easily

What sort of tirque and power can you get from a f7r..

Lets say for instance

Steel rods and low comp pistons but standard head and cams. Maybe running a t28. What would you expect from it?

250bhp...220ft/lb

with my spec 350bhp and 300ft/lb torque is what i,m aiming for....without the nitrous.....

mine ran 217bhp and 178lb/ft on low boost, so totally standard engine internals

So with uprated internals and more boost could se some nice figures.. How restrictive do the inlets become?

not so much the inlets but cams with more lift are the next mod.

i think if your after more power as the turbo overcomes the inlets but can produce more power if there open further.

setup i have now should be good for 320bhp, and thats just with pistons, no other engine internal mods. standard rods should be good to 350bhp, but no-ones tried i dont think...........yet!
