You've got to be careful with that one - it's still safer to get a proper HPI check done. In the House of Lords Shogun Finance vs Hudson case Section 27 of the '64 Hire Purchase Act has been found NOT to apply since the car was not sold by the debtor. So if the chap selling you the car is not the person the HP company lent the money to then you can't claim section 27 protection as an 'innocent purchaser' and the HP company will still hold title against the car!

A: hi mate, the screw has been put in to tighten the gear knob cus it was loose the screw is not loose, the car is not sponsered by halfauds, am not sure where to get the stickers from as they were alredy on the car when i got it, am not sure the exact shade i was told by someone on ebay that it would be nighthawk black because thats the only shade they do, i will pop over to the renault garage so i can get the exact shade and code. thanks

I sent him an email... not reporting any of you! lol, just to say good luck with the sale and i think hes doing a great job with the questions considering some of them are very difficult to answer, it would be easy to get pissed off and reply in kind, he sent me this...

I like a bit of fun at someone else expense as much as the next guy, but i think some people on ebay have taken it a bit far, not saying its people on here, but for him to remain polite and keep his dignity when its so obvious people are taking the piss out of him speaks volumes imo. It is actually quite shameful what some people have tried to do, irrespective of whether you feel he has brought it upon himself.
If he was indeed a real Chav with no respect and hailed abuse at anyone who suggested something may be wrong with his pride and joy, then maybe that would be different. But its obvious he is a genuine nice guy, i think we should support him and put the full force of Williamsclio behind his pledge to sell!.....
