FOR SALE

This is my wife’s Clio 16v, which we have owned for 6 months, it’s a true stunner and the bodywork is fist class for is age, Car is completely standard bar a scorpion system and decat.

K reg, 94k, Tungy Grey, 4 Owners, 6 months tax & 7 month MOT. cam belt done at 90k.

The car has a massive folder complete with tonnes of service history all the way back the fist owner, this folder has EVERYTHING inc the receipt of the scorpion exhaust which is only 11 months old.
As I said the bodywork is amazing and there is NO rust on the arches! There are no dents of scratches (just the odd chip)

The inside of the car again is amazing and is totally standard apart from a Kenwood head unit.

THE BAD!

Ok the HG went just over a month ago which I had repaired but even though the car is hardly used the HG seems to have gone again, the car is being looked at this Sat to confirm what’s up!

^^^ By the way the only way I’m guessing the HG is gone as I keep losing coolant and oil seems at bit pissy....

CAR IS CURRENTLY OFF THE ROAD UNTIL REPAIRED

If I get car fixed I’m looking for around 1200???

Assuming the HG needs to be done make me an offer!

VIEWING IS WELCOME I live near Chester (North West)

I’m selling mainly due to the fact ivy got a baby on the way and have just bought a bigger car....

Mate you can get a engine for under £100. Just drop it in, just so you can sell it easier.

Stunning though

Thats a lovely origional valver in the best colour.

If I was not going all turbo I would have this as well as my hybrid (that I have to sell to fund it).

Its a bad time of year to sell right now, dont let it go for stupidly low money!

That car is worth something even with a knackered engine.

Could it get too Southampton? Is about 160 mile trip. I know...how long is a piece of string...but if it goes boomwe could call RAC, get an engine and stuff it in there right? Sorted?

The car drives GREAT!
until you accelarte awee bit then there is very slight almost knocking noise, also seems to be lossing coolant.

to be honest if you local within 20 mile i`d say drive it but long distance i would not risk it, So prob best to hire a trailer - i hire a trailer for my track car which only cost 35 for 24hrs which aint bad.

I anit gonna sell this car for silly money like above i could pick engine up for 100+ and ive got someone who can put the engine in for 150.

worst case i will just cobver the car up until i have the funds and then repair possibly down the hybrid route

I don't think I am the only one to think the car looks great, and an mere bit of engine trouble is no big deal so keep hold of it mate and sort it when you can...

...in fact tungy's like this make me miss my old one, off to see another tungsten in a day or two, so may have another soon.
