Hey people having owned my evo 4 gsr now for nearly 1 year its time I must regretabily sell her due to loss of job  So are there any williams owners out there wanting to turn over to dark side

She is metallic silver in colour with about with about 98kms showing on clock but the owner (works at Co-Ordsport) in dudley told me it was converted to miles when it was on about 70kms when full engine rebuild was took place I believe so engine has done about 25k :)
Its got forged internals HKS pistons, oliver conrods, ARP head bolts and HKS head gasket the head has been gas flowed basically engine is ready for easily over 500bhp :D

Before I continue are there any interested willy owners with say a 2 or 3 wanting to do a deal? for my evo I would be looking at £6500 ono with the mods I have on car already and believe me its a steal! :D

I can get pics up.

Ok here goes for rest of spec :)

I bought her of Gav who works at Co-Ordsport in dudley it was going to be a track project for him but got a 6 instead :)

Since I owned it I have fitted the following mods:
EVO 9 GT turbo the rare one with titanium blower 30% quicker spool up :)
3" straight through mongoose exhaust system sounds awsome 3" decat
3" magnex downpipe
HKS 3" air filter
cusco 3" blue aluminium hard pipe from turbo inlet to filter
Ralliart HT leads
NGK iridium spark plugs
Apexi power fc D-JET with hand commander
rear 2 point strut bar
Piper 264 inlet/exhaust cams
Fidanza adjustable pulleys
560cc injectors as apposed to standard 500cc injectors these came out of an evo 7 that had done about 41k
evo 5 shockers all round with tein adjustable front top mounts (there is a slight knocking when turning right been told possible top mounts)
17" Compomotive alloys in matt black
Brembo 4 pot front brakes and 2 pot rear brakes
Performance friction front brake pads standard brembo rears and standard brembo front and rear discs
interior has front tommi mak seats installed standard evo 4 rear bench and door cards in very good condition

Think thats the spec out of way pretty much might have forgot odd little mods...

since I owned it its had a brand new water pump and thermostat fitted cambelt changed aroune June this year reconditioned transfer box fitted along with uprated diff bolts and gearbox bolts :) currently having a new bush fitted on a gearbox selector rod all this work done by a specialist who works on 99% evos most of time in Chesterfield.
Had an oil change back in April its due one now and am gonna do it myself before I sell it using silkolene pro s 5w40 (best oil)

There a couple of minor issues as explained above the knocking noise but you can buy ralliart top mounts for not that much and they are really supposed to good. I recently had the car tracking done on a laser I had -1.6 camber on front and toe adjusted to 0 but the rear camber couldn't be adjusted the bolts have siezed which is very common :( the left rear camber is on -1.4 and right is -1.8 so its very good rear toe was adjusted ok though so this could do with sorting out new bolts and be good getting bushes not that expensive. The last issue I have is that the car got scraped down side of bumper fook knows how the person managed it but didn't own up its a big scrape on top passenger side of bumper I have covered it with toyo stickers :) also alittle scratch on front above fog light and stone chips on lower splitter unavoilable really.

Basically if you was to get an uprated intercooler, exedy clutch and a good remap you could get 400bhp easily on the above mods very safely if more than 400 I would suggest bigger injectors as 560cc would probably max out around 400-420bhp.

Its currently got a small map programmed into apexi ecu at 1 bar of boost I have been taking easy I suggest if you don't plan on getting the above mods bought and fitted at least get it mapped to about 370/380bhp asap as it can handle that on standard 4 clutch and intercooler.

Really sad to see this go as it could be a real track beast contender for some records :(

I will get some pics up of her asap as stated would consider a p/x deal with a willy 2 or 3 low mileage as poss and a decent spec looking at £6,500 ono for my evo :)

The small front number plate will stay but will give you the original large standard number plate too so your choice I haven't been pulled once about the small number plate :)

Like to say to some of the alloys could do with a refurb :)

Another point the price I am looking at you might think sounds pricey but for instance that EVO 9 GT tubby would set you back about near £1,000 new

some other points I thought of its been de-sas'ed for weight purposes and also the aircon has been removed too for weight saving measures.

Also its been professionally undersealed with about 3 coats of wax oil underneath :)

hi drsmith cheers for reply no I wont do a straight swap for a willy 3  nice try though :P

There is no balance belt the balance shaft has been removed :) which I believe can make the evo slightly quicker :) less hassle too

Forgot to mention too its currently having an adjustable pressure switch fitted to ayc pump as old one stopped working this switch set me back £100 alone

can make it slightly quicker but its main advantage is the fact you dont have to service them! haha...

personally i would remove the stickers on the front bumper, kind of gives the 'young chav' statement, which is never good when selling such a demanding sports car.... sold mine to fund my USA project, wish i hadnt though, it was one of the nicest ones in the country!

what like a hybrid? nah mate I would want the genuine article :) When I was younger there were a williams always parked near where I live and always admired looking it at but that time couldn't afford to insure one lol I think willys are the only cars I seen where the gold alloys look spot on :D

im now regretting breaking my williams, but my hybrid is miles better.

tbh when do get round to buying an evo it would have to be white anyway!
good luck with sale.

Hi guys just to let you know she is going in for mapping on wednesday going as close to 400bhp as possible all depends how far clutch will go :)
But once its been mapped it'll be like a different car defo ready for a new owner
Also the AYC issue I mentioned a new AYC adjustable switch was fitted but it appears like the pump is worn as there is no pressure from pump at all really not a major issue a used pump from a 5 or 6 can be got for about £200 if you keep your eyes open it won't do any damage to diff I was told its ok to drive like this for now just remember AYC isn't being used to its limits but how often do you use AYC?

All the issues will be taken into account when reaching a price :)
