The clio next week.

Its getting a little work done :

Rear Perspex Windows (Huge weight saving)
Tar Sound deadning removed (more huge weight saving)
Dash Removal and heater re-route (with deadning behind dash being removed)
Sunroof being removed with it being plated over and headlining coming off.


I myself am : Getting 2.0 fanimold on, new zorst (that doesnt hang or blow)
Lowering it.
And getting the fogs out the front bumper and lightening it.
Oh and im loosing the passenger bucket

Not much engine wise tbh but the weight difference should be huge!

Whoops, didn't mean to pass 'no comment' above! You should get about 20kgs weight saving there. I was a little disappointed with the savings on the perspex windows - about 1kg for each rear quarter and a couple of kg for the back. Tar stuff weighs about 7kg if you get it all out, which is a pretty good saving for zero cost!

Its not polycarb windows, its the really thin stuff thats screwed in on the rubber backings, its like paper lol.

Im hoping to loose a few more than 1kg!!!!

Im looking forward to getting it on a weighbridge after?

different manifold wil lsave abotu 10kg over the full valver mani and dp!
saving alot there man deffo gna be good for ure bh\tonne :)

:) will be simmilar weight to me but still wont beat me mwhaha


me need to fit my manifold and polycarbs :) gna keep my dash tho this time... lol also cage gign in for powedercoating, almost got a new oted and polished head, + hoping for sum cams mwhaha

we'll see!

Nev is also getting exact prices for me on throttle boddies/carbs and i may see what he can do turbo wise.

Yeah, i keep thinking about it when i havent driven it for a few days... then i take the car out and remember how much i love it... i cant do it, it would be silly to drop in performance to anything else i can get.
