hi mate.
i have one fitted to the maxi. its difficult to tell the performance increase but does feel really good when putting down loads of power. not sure the increase would be worth the out lay without the extra power to make best use of it on a road car really.

I agree with MAXI,a lot of expense if   you aint got the power a gripper diff will be about £1500 by the time it is fitted and the donor box checked out,the ZF type plated diffs, that I use are nearer £2000,fitted etc etc.
We use to reckon in the old days, with the Mk II Escorts and rallying, that you could gain nearly a second a corner with a Diff.
For the short time I was "doing"   on Mull, the diff was pulling me round the tightest hairpins, with a little bit of help from the handbrake     .
I am not sure about doing a straight line, whether or not a diff is advantage or not,I would imagine some super soft tyres would have a similar effect
You can get an awful lot of engine mods for £1500/200

I love the Gripper LSD on mine, handling and traction is amazing when pushing hard, and I'm not running big power! I do agree with Rod and Maxi tho, it's big expense, I don't think it would be worth doing unless you planned on doing a lot of trackdays/sprints etc. my williams just happened to come with one fitted luckily

Do any have a phantom grip design LSD? Is it worth the money?
