Nick Hill diagnosed it as an ECU fault. A small amount of solder had cross linked two connectors on the ECU.
He scraped off the excess solder and car seems fine now.
Good good. Back to full fitness it what we like to hear.
Nice one, so you've got a nice healthy willy now then

Yes seems fine now, except the exhaust is rattling.

Sure its exhaust rattling and not the heat shield around the back box??? I had this.
I have this problem Stromba, been told the ceramics in the catalyst have broken down and causing it to rattle. I have just ordered a de-cat pipe from Prima Racing which I will fit next week and will worry about the cat at MOT time!!!
de-cat all the way...I have'nt run a cat since I first got my williams lol It's been resting in my shed since......

Yes, no oil. Clean as a whistle. Must have been a spill, or that rocker cover tightening did the trick.
tbh mate.like i said at the time.the bolts were ok, and i wouldnt have tightened them any further personally...musta just been spillage
