a ctr is very quick in the twisties, as it has soo much grip from the 17's...
0062 and my mate's ctr are very well matched imo, and his has well over 200 bhp :D

Well, williams always seems to be compared to far more exotic machine but it's beleivebale IMO as they're probably better suited to the conditions/still have reasonable power etc/smaller/lighter etc...1.2 v CTR is just fantasyland though

iv been glued to much superior machinery in a fukkin 1000cc mini before now....n were talkin rs turbos etc here

I've said the same in that thread. It has so much to do with the driver. I struggled to lose my mate in his 1.3 zetec fiesta down a twisty B road. He's not a particularily good driver, but he has no fear at all.

My sister has a 1.4 16v clio and that is piss poor. Should imagine its fair amount better than 1.2 IMHO.

Thats my reasoning behind thinking that either its crap, OR, the CTR wasn't trying as hard.

Would a CTR be better than a modded 1.2 in the twisties? I reckon it would be perfectly easy to stay with one with a decent suspension setup.

I used to lose all sorts in my dci once I had the f1s on and these were people I knew were trying as they'd catch up on the straight bits with bright red faces!
