im looking at getting this for my williams but am just thinking about it actually fitting? i think its the right size as im hopefully going to be running high boost like 1.5bar, so figured a small intercooler might not be up to the job. has anyone an pics with an intercooler this size fited to a clio, and how it would fit.
im thinking the cross member may have to be chopped, but i didnt know whether this is a good idea as it may reduce the strength?

ye i jus done a search but its half the size of mine?
looks easier to fit, but would it be good for the high pressure?
should be alright for pressure just not sure about cutting the front crossmember. would be cool if you could fit two. one above and below but plumbing would be a night mare.

ye the crossmember would need modifying, i dont think the whole thing needs cutting out, just needs the top and bottom cut out, leaving the backing for the intercooler to rest against? but then i could get some plating and strengthening done

hope you see what i mean by this pic, the yellow gets cut out leaving the backing?
then i assume modification to the bumper as well? as the bolt hole is there?

plus you would have poor airflow though that section.

I have lots of SS tubing 2 1/2" diameter if you need to do custom intercooler plumbing etc.
Yes mate i have the same problem, i thought of something like this but then you will have to cut the crossmember anyways....
if you know what i mean
