depends on what kit you got, if its from the group buy on here then most likely std size discs

285mm from a R1 TXE will fit if the caliper brackets allow.

you will need the std, 259mm as pointed out for that kit, would need brackets making up to allow 285mm etc

Castrol SRF is what I use. If you bleed it carefully I would think you would probably get away with just a litre of it. I'd buy two to be safe though!

system is ~400ml, so 1 litre will be plenty.

Castrol Response Dot 4 Brake fluid.
I would say 2ltrs as the wilwoods can be fiddly to bleed at times.

I would - especially if you are planning to start using one of the better fluids suggested above, but you don't need to go mad getting every last drop out or anything. Do you know what is in it at the moment? If its DOT 5 you should really flush the system before refilling with anything other than another DOT5, but since it is a Cup car it should be pretty unlikely that anyone would have put DOT5 in it, so you shouldn't need to worry too much.

Fitting the calipers is pretty straightforward. You just need to grind off the edges of the hub carrier where the caliper bolts go into it in order that the caliper bracket can clear it (or you could machine out a bit of the caliper carrier bracket I guess, but these looked too much a work of art to play with!)

Then just bolt back onto the car and connect up the brake pipes, bleed and then run in for a few hundred miles and you are done!

dead easy to fit, just had to grind a small amount off each hub for clearence for them to fit perfect, id drain the system and rebleed with fresh fluid

Ive just fitted one calliper ontot the car and have not had to rub any metal down to get it to fit ok, have i done something wrong? It lines up with the bolt holes no problem, is this ok?

Also does the brake hose brass threaded nipple thing twist ALL the way into the calliper, mines only goes down to say 0.2 mm of thread left on it, the nut part isnt fully up to the calliper. IS this OK or do i gave to ensure its all the way down touching the calliper.

Just noticed the calliper does not sit central with the disc, is this why i am meant to file of some of the original hub carrier to get it central so i can get the pads in easier?

richy

could you get any pics?, only reason i had to file mine was because the caliper bracket wouldnt quite meet the hub holes to bolt up

sorted my problem with the brake parts i needed (see wanted section) apparently these are non renault standard items, so no idea who fitted these, factory or race team....

Just finished re bleeding system and took it for a spin with new castrol super dot 4 in. Pads not bedded in yet but nearly hit my head on windscreen (must wear harness when road testing)
