Do i do away with the distributer when doing a throttlebody conversion with a clio head?
Stan you said to me i need a new coil. What do i do with the distributer etc?
Andy
distributer gets ditched. use a megane flywheel as this has usable trigger pattern for after-market ecu's. The its just ecu controlled coil pack.

flywheel is all fine, do you need a blanking plate or anything similar for the distributer?
Andy
yes andy if you can source one of a megane head then thats it. You can even make one yourslf, a little bit of aluminium, a drill and some sealant!!
and yeah u got the megane flywheel anyway :D

:D
This is what i have been planning for a while which i why i went for the megane head - ready for the bodies....... nice
:D
Anyone sourced a cheaper radiator yet as i think you need a slimmer one
needs to be shorter and fatter
there about 450 arent they, surely there may be one the right size on a mass produced car to save having a one off made
yes must be able to find something or have them made cheaper i would think
you need the outlets on the rad to be in the same place aswell though

^Thats what most people want so will pay for a custom rad.
If you dont mind plumbing i would have thought loads of cheaper options were out there.
lol.
i checked out pretty much evry rad tbh. there was a site i used had refurbed rads, but had all the dimensions etc for each rad/car. closest i found that would fit, with the take offs for the hoses in the right place were off the 205 gti's/diesels. iirc they were slightly too wide tho, right height..
it was a long time ago tho, my memories not what it was lol.
Aye 205 is closest, but doesnt fit.
I supply them at £350, custom made, aluminium.
