I want to ask you about the best cold air intake.I looked around different versions and could you consult me about the best one for a stock car. when I looked the cold air intake versions I think that I liked the most the Gr. A intake.which one should I choose? 10x :D

standard airbox, itg filter and foglight air intake feed.

or takin air direct from skuttle panel

if you have your standard airbox, buy a replacement ITG panel filter and run a fog light feed with a foglight scoop. very cheap but very effective!

I am concidering the making of a imitation of the group A filtara, to take a R21 airbox and to make a flange for her and to feed air from the scuttle panel, also I am thinkig of moving the battery next to the ECU :D

yeah im makin 1 of them, but couldnt find a r19 airbox so using a BMC CDA with piping to skuttle should work wit the same efect

im going to be running of adaptor plates and the tube for the group a system... all you need to source is a filter and elbows (rally designs)

Shouldnt prove too costly either.

I dont know the dimentions of the gr. A intake, but i'm thinkig to make the throttle body flange around 80 mm into the R21 airbox, and from the box to the skuttle panel.will it have any effect from pipes that big?

lol miy filters is full of dead bugs, bits of leafs and all sorts!! just cucks everything up. if u can take an airsupply from skuttle, or inner wing where it cant suck water and bugs in so easily.

I found when it was wet on the motorway i suxked shit loads of water up, when it was really wet you could feel the car hesitating and i got muddly water all over the engine bay

This was on an RSi, just had an open induction kit under the bonnet and and cold air feed to it, personally i wopuldn't bother with a feed from the fog light for the std box, std feed is good enough, nice and low down so it sucks in nice cold air

spot on ill leave it be then

I have had the foglight feed mod for the 3 years I have owned my williams and have never had any problems with rain water etc. it's a good mod I would highly recommend it.
