A fast motorbike engine

Am building a Go Kart and looking for a nice fast engine (that runs already), ideally 1 of the following:

gsxr400
zx4r
cbr400


gsxr600
zx6r
cbr600
yzf r6

etc

may even use 1000cc if the engine price is right


any1 got anything?

Cant help with the engine itself, but I'd suggest a gsxr600 if yiou can get it, they are fairly cheap, easy to work on, go like shit of a stick standard and respond well to tuning

not that your gonna want to tune it much to run a go-kart!!

bought a 52 plate YZF-R6 last nite with 6000miles on it

has been flipped :twisted: so got it for £600


its go kart time!!!!

it was a fast enough bike had me shittin myself on bk of it before it was wrote off lol neva mind stickin it on an even lighter frame

right as requested got a quick 3gp video (mobile phone format) of my YZF R6 go kart :twisted:

The video is poor quality as my phone is crap but you can hear how it sounds bearing in mind the most i revved it on that vid was to 4k, and the clocks go all the way to 18k :)

I have a 2000 model R1 15k,dyno jetted @ 154bhp at the back wheel?3 grand?

may even use 1000cc if the engine price is right


any1 got anything?

sorry pal already got an R6 though that would of been nice, im happy with 120bhp on a 150kg kart :lol:
