I'm not that mechanically minded - I just want to try and find a cheaper option than a re-build or a new box - hence my request.... I'm still going to have to pay someone to put it in...... therefore ideally I want a box that can just be put in rather that requiring additional work.... Thanks anyways!!!

^^^ surely if your getting someone to put it in they would have no problem swapping the cases over...

Be your cheapest option bar risking one without history

Years ago when i forst got a clio and knoew **** all about them i paid £400 for a new gearbox casing and swapping it over

I was quoted £150 to swap over by a gearbox specialist near me.

So if it's £150 to swap over plus the cost of the boxes in the first place - £150ish - then we are getting close to what I have been quoted to re-build my own box anyways..... (£375-£400)......

I have complete gearbox still assembled to the engine.
I also have complete engine.
