why does it go up in size when it gets closer to the tb and smaller at the airfilter?
is this purely because off the room issue with the battery?

I think its more to do with the size of the adapter mate.

If you know someone who welds then you can cut a plate out and get him to weld a small length of pipe to it. And dont f**k around with the washer bottle either, just get one from a vauxhall nova.

mines 63mm all the way on the turbo and it will draw enough air for 400bhp.

as started i think its just to do with adapter size really.

I've actually seen small kit car bottles with built in pumps - I was thinking of seeing what kind of room I'll have when I'm done and get a couple of them one for the front one for the back - mot states the bottle has to be at lease 1ltr capacity so I'm thinking two coke bottles 8)

Noticed today when I was writing a list of what I need for the bay clean up that the rocker cover has like paint flaking off the top - whats best to use to rub it down before I respray it? just wire brush the bugger?

You don't just whip them off though do you? Thought you had to replace the gasket?

its easy and no you dont really need to replace gasket provided its in one piece, you should really as it compressable, but i've got away with reusing them before
